As a young married woman, seeing the ads for their zechus, I always wanted to be a part but was never able to come up with any ideas. Then one day I redd a shidduch to a friend, for a week I put all energy into it and then the boy’s mother asked if I mind if she uses a professional shadchan. I reluctantly said yes and when I thought it through I realized it was the zechus of hopefully bringing two people together that I wanted and nothing more. 2 months later they are now engaged, the girls side appreciates the time I put in very much but from the boys side I got “oh you only did 1 small phone call you weren’t really the main shadchan“. If only she knew. I smiled at her happily and I am taking the zechus for Khal yisroel. Let this bring mashiach closer.
