“I was a bit apprehensive to call my relative to redt my friend to her son, as I am in shidduchim myself. But as the only person who knew both of them personally, I felt an achrayus to try. Although I am pretty young, one of my dreams in life has been to make a shidduch. Although I have tried redting other shidduchim in the past, this is the first shidduch I redt as a zechus for Elisheva and Yisroel. This is also the first shidduch that I made! The feeling is surreal, and the simcha is overwhelming! My friend is now my cousin!!
As the tragedy really touched me, I follow the progress of 10K Batay Yisroel to keep track of where we are holding in our efforts in their zechus. Knowing that I would log it on the website, gave me a push to actually call up and push the shidduch. This should be a tremendous zechus for the neshamos of Yisroel and Elisheva.
