This shidduch was between a friend of my daughter and a relative of mine.
It’s always been on my mind – about the tragic passing of Yisroel and Elisheva AH. While not a shadchan, I was happy to do something in this realm.
I think the point I learnt most importantly – is that I had this idea over the course of two full years, and kept procrastinating for various reasons. They were all legitimate, and obviously there is a time that Hashem decides is best, but we should be less hesitant to just suggest it.
On the receiving end, if people embrace the suggestions then it would make it easier for people to offer up suggestions.
